today im going to teach you how to make masala fish it is my own recipe i have tried it before and it came out nice if you want the english written recipe then you can go to my facebook page which will be linked in the description box and if you enjoy the video then dont forget to like, subscribe and comment i have 1kg of fish you can get any of your choice and slice it as shown you will also need salt to taste, cumin seeds, dry coriander, black pepper, red chilli powder, tumeric powder, mint paste, ginger and garlic paste, garam masala and lemon juice first we have to put the fish in the bowl and marinate it and we are going to leave it for 1 hour and 30 mins but if you want to be quick then you can leave it for 30 mins first we are going to add lemon juice if you want it sour then you can add more i like it sour so im addin 4-5 tbsp now we are going to add all the spices and mix well as you can see i have marinated the fish and that was our first step the things you will need for the second step is onion, green pepper and green chilli you will also need coriander, garlic and ginger paste, cumin seeds, red chilli powder and salt to taste and oil to fry now we are going to fry the fish as you can see the oil has heated up and now we are going to put in the fish it needs to be golden brown it took 3-4 minutes for one side to cook now are going to turn them this is our first batch of fish that we cooked take a pan and add a little bit of the oil that you used to fry the fish in and we are going to heat it up the oil has heated up and now we are going to add in the cumin seeds we are also going to add the ginger and garlic paste now we are going to add the left over masala of the fish and we are also going to add the green pepper, onions and green chilli we are not going to cook them a lot only a little bit on high heat they will become soft for 2-3 minutes now we are going to add the chilli powder and salt first taste the salt in the fish and if you think that there needs more salt then add it into the gravy if its fine then you can skip it now we have to add the coriander and leave a little bit for presentation at the end and mix well now we have to spread out the masala and add the fish into it carefully as you can see i have added all the fish and now we have to let it cook for 2-3 minute with the lid on after it cooks i will show you what to do next it has been 2-3 minutes and now we have to carefully turn all the fish around a little bit of the green pepper is still raw so we are going to cook it a bit more with the lid on as you can see the fish has almost cooked and so have the green pepper and now we are going to turn it again now the fish is ready and we are going to put the leftover coriander and garnish the fish masala and if you want you can put lemon juice on it or lemon slices and its ready
