Hello so we are starting a new series in which
we will teach you operations ranging from simple to extreme in this hobby. it can be cleaning an aquarium, making a background
or even a cosmetic surgery on a fish. Today’s tutorial is about “how to clean your
aquarium in under 10 minutes”. For this tutorial you have to have some basic
assumptions, like the substrate has to be natural like sand or aqua soil. If you have a gravel substrate then that will
take you longer as you have to dismantle the whole aquarium and take it out to clean. If you havent subscribed to the channel, please

once we upload another episode. So now you would need some simple things a
scotch bright cleaning foam which is smoother from the one end and rough on the other. You can also use some other contraption which
has a rough carpet like surface. You can use a gravel cleaner or a simple pipe
with some suction on it. You have to disconnect all the equipment of
the aquarium like the filters and heaters. in our case we have two filters in this tank
that we have to turn of. then you disconnect the heater, the air supply
system can stay on just turn of the essential equipment which is affected by the water level. As the water level will go down and the heater
if left on, it can burn up and can cause an accident. Then you can use glint or any other acetone
based cleaning product to clean the outer glass of the tank. so you can see where it need cleaning from
the inside. After that install the entry and the exit
pipes and hold them in place with suction cups. Normally the left side of the tank is exit
and the right side of the tank is entry for the water. The exit pipe is used to clean out any debris
on the sand or aquasoil. After that clean out the decorations in the
tank using the scotch bright foam or a tooth brush. After your done cleaning the sand and the
substrate you can go on clean the background if installed with the same scotch bright foam. Then end up by cleaning all glasses internally. Once its done you will have taken out 25-30
percent of water, replace that with fresh RO water and add a water conditioner so that
the chlorine and heavy metals can be neutralized. Now you tank is cleaned and serviced. Repeat this every week and service the filters
after every two weeks. In order to see how filters are cleaned watch
