MEET OUR GRADS: Jessica Gill

MEET OUR GRADS: Jessica Gill

the past four years here at WVU have
been absolutely amazing I don’t really know what else I could say besides that
I’m never gonna forget it whenever I went through elementary middle and high
school I decided I wanted to become a doctor because I wanted to help people
then I came to college and that’s when I stumbled across public health and knew
that it was the right path for me the part that interests me the most about
public health is the fact that I’m able to help people I can help people in
different ways whether it be through policy at a community level or I could
be on the frontlines and be able to work with people I’ve been able to figure out
the path that I want to go on which is working with adolescents and children my advice to future public health
students is that you do not need to know exactly what you want to do when you
come in it is so flexible and everyone there is there to help you create your
own path I have grown so much since my freshman year four years ago here at WVU
I’ve been able to basically find what I was passionate about I’ll never forget
all the people and the good times that I’ve had
