MMHMM.Y ALL STAY TUNED WITH SOME MORE FISHING WITH CAPTAIN MARK NICHOLS
RIGHT HERE IN STUART.ADDICTIVE FISHING IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY D.O.A. LURES,
THE UNFAIR ADVANTAGE. FLORIDA S SPACE COAST, ORLANDO S CLOSEST BEACHES. STAR BRITE, THE
WORLD-WIDE LEADER IN MARINE, AUTOMOTIVE AND RV CARE PRODUCTS. FINS, THE WORLD S FIRST
SITUATIONAL SPECTRA-FIBER FISHING LINE. COSTA DEL MAR SUNGLASSES, SEE WHAT S OUT THERE AND
BY SEAGUAR, THE INVENTOR AND WORLD LEADER IN FLUOROCARBON FISHING LINE.RIG
IT RIGHT BY WRIGHT AND MCGILL.ON TODAY S EPISODE I M GOING TO SHOW YOU WHAT MARK
AND I WERE THROWING OUT THERE TODAY, THE D.O.A. SHRIMP AND THE TWO MAIN COLORS THAT WERE WORKING
FOR US TODAY WAS THE 309 AND THE 425, WHAT I LIKE TO CALL EITHER THE COTTON SHRIMP OR
BASICALLY IT S A GREEN HOLOGRAPHIC SHRIMP. IT WAS THE FIRST LURE MARK MADE WHEN HE STARTED
D.O.A. LURES IT WORKED GREAT BACK THEN, AND IT WORKS AWESOME TODAY. NOW THE LINE THAT
WE WERE THROWING OUT THERE TODAY, I WAS THROWING THE XS AND MARK WAS THROWING THE WINDTAMER.
THE FINS WINDTAMER WORKS SO WELL ESPECIALLY WHEN THAT WIND KICKED UP ON MARK TODAY, IT
WAS ABSOLUTELY BLOWING THE LINE ALL OVER THE PLACE AND HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN WIND KNOTS
IF HE WAS THROWING ANOTHER BRAID OUT THERE. I STAYED WITH THE XS IT S A NICE SMOOTH LINE
JUST ABSOLUTELY GOT THE JOB DONE. AND AS ALWAYS WERE THROWING SEAGUAR FLURO-CARBON LEADER
THROWING THE TWENTY-POUND TEST, AND THIS IS THE PREMIER IT HAPPENS TO BE A LITTLE BIT
MORE LIMBER THE WATER WAS A LITTLE BIT MORE CHILLY TODAY SO WE WANTED IT TO BE AS LIMBER
AS POSSIBLE TO GIVE THOSE LURES MORE LIFELIKE ACTION. AND THE RODS THAT WE WERE THROWING
OUT THERE TODAY, BOTH OF THEM WERE SEVEN-SIXES. I WAS THROWING THE ONE PIECE SEVEN-SIX, HAD
IT RIGGED UP WITH A 3500 SABALOS REEL DEFINITELY GETTING THE JOB DONE FOR ME TODAY OUT THERE.
MARK WAS ALSO THROWING A SEVEN-SIX, BUT BRAND NEW FROM WRIGHT AND MCGILL WAS THE SEVEN-SIX
TRAVEL ROD. THEY MAKE IT IN BOTH A CASTING MODEL AND A SPINNER MODEL THEIR BOTH SEVEN-SIXES
AND I LL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WILL FORGET THAT THIS IS A THREE PIECE ROD. WANNA SAY THANKS
TO MARK NICHOLS FOR PUTTING US ON THOSE FISH AND WAIT Y ALL SEE WHAT S COMING UP, IT S
GOING TO BE ANOTHER FIRST FOR ADDICTIVE FISHING. REMEMBER ONE THING THOUGH EVERY FISHING SEASON
STARTS RIGHT HERE AT DICKRIG IT RIGHT BY WRIGHT AND MCGILL.WE TRAVELED
FROM STUART TO FORT PIERCE WITH THIS ROD AND IT S STILL IN ONE PIECE. OBVIOUSLY IT TRAVELS
WELL.WHAT DO YOU THINK THE ADVANTAGES ARE, MARK, OF GETTING OUT OF THE BOAT LIKE
WERE DOING?SILENCESILENCENO NOISE YOU CAN WALK, YOUR NOT CREATING
ANY HULL SLAP AGAINST YOUR LEGS. WE RE IN VERY SHALLOW WATER, GIVES US A CHANCE TO WALK
UP TO THESE FISH WHEREAS IF I WERE IN MY BOAT I D BE DRIFTING UP FAIRLY QUICKLY. WE VE GOT
A STRONG WIND MAKES IT MUCH HARDER TO CONTROL. YOU CAN T STOP YOUR BOAT ON A DIME LIKE WE
CAN STOP ON A DIME. ANOTHER THING TOO, HERE WE CAN REALLY PICK THESE PLACES APART YOU
KNOW? A DAY LIKE TODAY WHERE YOU GOT A PRETTY STRONG BREEZE AND YOUR IN A BOAT, EVEN IF
YOU STOP YOUR BOAT ON TIME YOUR STILL GOING TO HAVE SOME HULL SLAP AND A COUPLE SHOTS
MAYBE AND THEN YOUR DONE. AND THE PURE LOVE OF FISHING WHEN YOU HOOK THAT BIG SNOOK OR
TROUT AND YOUR LIKE THIS, IT S, IT S, FOR FISHING FREAK LIKE WE ARE IT S JUST COOL.
(LAUGHS) THERE S FISH!THERE YOU GO! OH!OH NO!SHRIMP?YEAH
I M NOT SURE WHAT THAT WAS BUT IT DIDN T FEEL LIKE I DID ANYTHING WRONG ON THAT. BUT I DID.
LOVE THAT FEEL. FISH ON.THAT LOOKS LIKE A BIG TROUT THERE.IT S A NICE
TROUT, I DON T KNOW HOW BIG, BUT IT S A NICE TROUT. BURYING IN THE GRASS. THERE IT GOES.
THERE S A FISH.ALRIGHT DOUBLE, AND THAT S A SNOOK.THAT WOULD BE
A SNOOKI. WHATCHYA GOT THERE MR. NICHOLS?I THINK I GOT HERE A BIG TROUT HERE
SIR, OR AT LEAST A NICE TROUT. I DON T KNOW IF IT QUITE HAS MOGAN STATUS. BUT IT MIGHT.
OH THIS IS A TROUT DUDE.I GOT A BIG TROUT.THIS IS A BIG TROUT.
I GOT A BIG TROUT TOO.YOU GOT A BIGGER TROUT TOO (LAUGHS) LOOK AT THESE
TWO TROUT!(LAUGHS)WOW UNBELIEVABLE.NOW THAT S A DOUBLE RIGHT HERE.
THAT S A TRUE DOUBLE. ALRIGHT YOU FOLKS IN TEXAS.(LAUGHS) THEY GOT SHOULDERS
ON THEM TOO.OH AND HE JUST GOT AWAY. HERE LET ME GET THIS GUY.EASY, EASY
EASY DUDE.(MUMBLING)THAT S A HEAVY FISH RIGHT THERE. WHAT A GORGEOUS

WE HAD A DOUBLE ON THIS FISH RIGHT THERE.OH WE HAD A DOUBLE TROUT, THAT
SIZE RIGHT THERE. WOW, THAT S WHAT YOU COME TO STUART, FLORIDA FOR.IT S A BEAUTIFUL

  1. For me….. it's not even close…..catching big trout is the best Florida has to offer. Sure reds, flounder, snook, sheepshead, bone, etc…..all are worthy opponents. …I'm a trout guy to the core. WTG guys.

  2. I'm one of thos boys in texas addicted to big trout and im totally jealous of these monsters, great double. By the way…. use some boga's next time

  3. Speckled Trout are absolutely, the most beautiful inshore fish. There is nothing like landing a nice one in my humble opinion.

  4. CAPT Nichols is awesome. I didn't like him much at first, but I warmed up to him and learned some stuff. His DOA videos on his baits are like going to a college fishing lab. I can tell he loves what he does and is quite the conservationist. His use of hardware insulation in an airhead is simplicity incarnated. Good on ya, sir!

  5. Watchin you catch redfish made me start salt water fishin.bassin wasnt doin it for me anymore.i dont catch many reds but i sure got addicted to that trout bite awful quick.biggest one so far is 26" weighed exactly 6 lbs.

  6. man this makes me miss living in panama city and the fishing around there. you just got another subscriber. hoping to plan a little get away to get some fishing in down there next year!

  7. Is it me, or is the old guy seriously trying to be an ass? It just seems to me like he is an attitude junky? Look, maybe Im full of crap, but…..I get the feeling the love of his life greats him every morning in the mirror….

  8. Beautiful specs down there. Maybe somebody out there can help me out there. This is my first year fishing for speckled trout I'm up here in Virginia and I was fishing today fishing for speckled about one in every 10 or keepers I'm using a jig head with a z-man grub paddle tail and something grabbed it and and bit the line right into took everything could that be a trout or blue fish? I'm using 15 pound test

  9. Come on Blair, I grew up in those waters you caught the big trout in. Ive fished that flat. That's not even close to Stuart. That is Fort Pierce, my hometown. Stuart is a 30 minute drive south of there. Nice Trout though! Caught one just as big or bigger in Queen's Cove in January. Still havent caught one bigger than that.

  10. Me and my family live in Altamonte springs but drive to wabasso and put in at the bridge and fish all the spoil islands and cuts in the back water. Everyone shoots to Sebastian inlet, but we slay em in wabasso. Maybe you can do a show in that area, just a little more North from where you were at but outstanding fishing

  11. A great video of you and Mark wade fishing, that's the ultimate way to fish, I enjoyed watching you both fish and having fun!
