We add the olive oil in the pot, and we are going to fry the onion and the garlic until it is soft. Now the onion is soft and tender, but not burnt, with medium flame. And we are going to put this in the blender, along with a can of diced tomatoes. Now the onion is cooked and we put it in the blender, and we add the diced tomatoes. Now we have the blended mixture. We continue by adding the flour to the pot we were using. We will brown it a little bit. Now we have the flour slightly browned, and we will pour in our broth, and we will let this cook for about 3 minutes. While the tomato broth is cooking for 3 minutes we add 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper. And salt to taste. Now we have cooked this for 3 minutes, and we are adding 7 to 8 cups of water. And we are going to add the vegetables. And we will cook them until they are soft, and then we will add in the seafood. We are going to check how it’s doing. When the vegetables are soft, add the seafood. But this needs some more time. At this point, we have cooked this for about 20 minutes, and the vegetables are nice and soft. Next we will add the seafood. Now we are adding the seafood, you can make this with the seafood you like best. And we will let this cook for another 15 minutes. 15 minutes of cooking and we will be finished. We are going to stir this a little, to cook evenly. This is finished now.
